SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
This conference is intended as an international forum for agriculture related professionals to exchange information on applications and developments in the use of Information Technologies. Contributions from various countries will allow a broadened perspective for all attending.
The organising committee is particularly keen to encourage participation from the New Member states of the EU and from the Associated Candidate Countries - Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania.  This conference will provide these countries with the opportunity to meet fellow researchers from all over Europe and to initiate contacts which may lead to collaborative projects.

Contributions are welcome in all areas involving on applications and developments in the use of Information Technologies for a better agri-food sector, environment and rural living. Conference topics include, but are not limited to:

Gold digger
Bob, a 70 year old extremely wealthy widower, shows up at the Country Club with a breathtakingly beautiful and very sexy 25 year-old blonde who knocks everyone's socks off with her youthful sex appeal and charm and who hangs over Bob's arm and listens intently to his every word.

His buddies at the club are all aghast. They corner him and ask, "Bob, how'd you get the trophy girlfriend?"

Bob replies, "Girlfriend? She's my wife!"

They're knocked over, but continue to ask. "So, how'd you persuade her to marry you?"

Bob says, "I lied about my age."

His friends respond, "What do you mean? Did you tell her you were only 50?"

Bob smiles and says, "No, I told her I was 90."
