Conference GRISI CAPITALISATION

Already over 100 participants from 30 different European regions have signed up to participate in the conference GRISI CAPITALISATION "The stakes of Geographical Information for the interregional cooperation in Europe".

Farmer Marketing - Opportunities and Challenges
7 July - BUDAPEST
The Agri-Marketing Project, funded by the EU Leonardo da Vinci Programme, is organising at the end of it's two-year implementation a Conference in partnership with "United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO)" Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, providing an opportunity for the Project to share its findings with a wider audience.
The Agri-Marketing Project has been designed to help farmers and agro-processors meet these new challenges by improving vocational training in this field. The Project has identified those elements of agri-marketing that are the main driving force behind successful business development in the agriculture and food sectors across Europe, and has developed training material using case studies that best illustrate this in practice.
The conference will provide the opportunity for the Project to share its findings with a wider Attendance at the conference is free of charge

Hypnotist Night at the Senior Citizen Home
It was entertainment night at the Senior Center. Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: "I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and ever member of the audience."

The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat "I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations"

He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch,
watch the watch, and watch the watch..."The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface.

Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotists fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a hundred pieces.


"SHIT!" said the Hypnotist.


It took three days to clean up the Senior Center.
