An Irish friend proposed me to enjoy this video. I did not really! (…) The friendship between France and Germany is essential for me. It is a kind of miracle after so many centuries of conflicts and eventually two world wars. Please let this miracle go on… (1) (GW in the last efita newsletter)
Well done!

I entirely agree with your opinion. I am amazed that people can be so foolish. And speaking as someone who knows a great deal of history I would go further and suggest the EU is one of the most unequivocally successful political institutions in human history. And most bizarre of all is that in the UK many of those most critical of our membership of the EU suggest as an alternative we have closer links with the USA! So much for the issue of sovereignty.

Please let this miracle go on… (4)
We met in October 2007 in Paris at the farewell party of Jean Claude Mocquot and you decided to add me to the mailing list of your weekly newsletter.
I have sometimes wondered whether I should continue to share your newsletter, but what you have said yesterday more than justifies reading it. I am in full agreement with your statement: Let this miracle go on and let us work for a functioning civil society! And let us be vigilant against negligence.
By the way, the Hitler film carries sloppy English translations in the subtitles. Hitler never uses four letter words in German and has not used the word economy. His language is much more serious.
Thank you for your contribution

One day, long, long ago
One day, long, long ago... there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or complain.

But this was a long time ago... and it was just that one day.
