Summer School 2012 on "Experimental Auctions: Theory and Applications in Food Marketing and Consumer Preferences Analysis"
3 – 8 September 2012 - BOLOGNA
The summer school is aimed at learning the fundamentals and the recent advances of experimental auctions. It will provide the appropriate techniques to construct an experimental design, with software applications and workshops regarding specific problems in the fields of food market valuation. It will also provide the appropriate knowledge of the models used in the experimental auction literature for the data analysis. Results interpretation and policy implications will be also discussed.
The course is taught by Rodolfo M. Nayga, Jayson L. Lusk, and Andreas Drichoutis, with the assistance of Maurizio Canavari.

New Ag International is now the official partner magazine for European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA). NEWS from the Hungarian Association of Agricultural Informatics (HAAI is member of the EFITA)

A.) Successful project on ICT R&D in agriculture

The dissemination of research and development on innovative information technologies in agriculture project was a part of the Social Renewal Operational Program, New Hungary Development Plan. Within this national program the project helped the diffusion of R&D research results on ICT in agriculture.

Project period: 2010-2011 (the tasks are following in the next 5 years)
The main results during the financial support period:

- 71 researchers / lecturers, 271 students participated in the project 71 persons, the number of directly achieved target persons were 1700
- The scientific information portal has been developed (http://tamop.magisz.org/).
- The Journal of Agricultural Informatics (http://journal.magisz.org/). 5 journal volumes have been published.
- Publishing books of studies (in four volumes 25 studies have been published in 691 pages)
- The international scientific events and conferences nationwide, as well as smaller workshops were held:
