First international Controlled Traffic Farming conference
25 – 27 February 2013 - TOOWOOMBA, Australia
An increasing number of farmers in Europe but especially in Australia use Controlled Traffic Farming to confine soil compaction to the least possible area of permanent traffic lanes. The conference will run over three days, with formal presentations in the mornings, farm visits on the first two afternoons, and optional tours departing on the third afternoon.

ACTFA (the Australian Controlled Traffic Farming Association) has already organized seven national conferences in Australia. Opposed to these this coming conference will take place during the Australian late summer, which gives farmers from the northern hemisphere the opportunity to participate.

CTF Europe will coordinate an European delegation. Anybody can quite noncommittal register their interest from the link below.

> Jens Peter Hansen: A Danish survey around Christmas 2011 showed that 1 out of 5 farmers used smartphones. Among those, that expected to buy a new mobile in Q1 2012, 50% expected to buy a smartphone. (n= +4.000)

Medical school
When I was young my intent was to go to medical school, the entrance exam included several questions that would determine eligibility.

One of the questions was "Rearrange the letters P N E S I to spell out an important part of human body that is more useful when erect."

Those who spelled "SPINE" became Doctors... The rest ended up in Congress.
