ARO 90 - Increasing Future Food Production: Challenges & Opportunities
for the New Era
2 - 5 December - Volcani Center campus - Israel
Within the framework of 90 years of agricultural research the Agricultural
Research Organization (ARO) proudly announces the launching of a workshop
to address the World Future Food Crisis.
The Workshop will take place in Israel at the Volcani Center campus of
the ARO on the 2-4th December 2012. There will be live, interactive broadcast
coverage of the conference using web technology in which participants
watching the live broadcast will submit their questions to the panel sessions.
The Workshop will focus on new opportunities to adapt the agricultural
research setting to meet the future challenges, enveloping the concept
that future agriculture will not compromise the quality of soil and water
resources or threaten the ecological integrity of natural ecosystems.
We wish to hear from you prior and during the workshop and you will be
able to see the live broadcast on your computer, wherever you may be!
We are anticipating an exciting and interactive workshop even prior to
its onset.

You can live in New York City where...
1. You say "the city" and expect everyone to know you mean Manhattan.
2. You can get into a four-hour argument about how to get from Columbus
Circle to Battery Park, but can't find Wisconsin on a map.
3. You think Central Park is "nature."
4. You believe that being able to swear at people in their own language
makes you multi-lingual.
5. You've worn out a car horn. (Ed. Note if you have a car).
6. You think eye contact is an act of aggression.
