Call for papers - 2017 EFITA congress - Montpellier, France: The
deadline has been postponed to March, 16 th!
Dear colleague,
EFITA is the European conference dedicated to the future use of
ICT in the agri-food sector, bioresource and biomass sector.
It was launched and is supported by the European Federation for
Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment
(EFITA). EFITA happens every two year, and EFITA 2017 is the 11
th edition. 200 participants are expected in Montpellier, France,
from around 30 countries.
Many initiatives, such as invited workshops and sessions , internal
meetings, come together within EFITA conference to make Montpellier
the place to go in July when it comes to ICT for agri-food, bioresource
and biomass sectors. A Hackathon will happen the week-end before
and a technical tourwill conclude the conference. The schedule is
organised to make the conference attractive to research teams and
to companies.
The on-line abstract submission is open at www.efita2017.org . The
new deadline is March, 16 th .
Abstracts of 2 pages are requested for oral and poster communication.
Journals have proposed to select papers for publishing . Please
keep updated on this subject by subscribing to the newsletter .
Send your extended abstracts, propose demonstrations, come and enjoy
a nice atmosphere for knowledge sharing and thinking the future.
We will be happy to welcome you in Montpellier and we will take
care that you enjoy the sunny and beautiful place!

The Internet of Food & Farm 2020 (IoF2020)
ARVALIS is part of the European project Internet of Food & Farm
2020 (IoF2020) which has been selected for a grant from the European Commission
to investigate and foster a large-scale implementation of Internet of Things
in the European farming and food domain.
IoF2020 consists of 71 partners from 16 countries and is coordinated by
Wageningen UR. ARVALIS will specifically coordinates the use case dedicated
to the development of sensors network for smart wheat crop management, in
partnership with Orange and the innovative Hiphen start-up.
