AERMATICA3D realized the drone solution for artificial walnut pollination (Italy)
For several reasons, in specific conditions, natural pollination may not be sufficient!
In Emilia Romagna, Italy, there have been the first operations of artificial walnut pollination by using a drone, to integrate, supplement, improve and overcome the natural pollination.

DroneDeploy Announces John Deere API
DroneDeploy is now connected with the John Deere Operations Center.
Just in time for the critical spring planting season, the integration allows users to synchronize their DroneDeploy and MyJohnDeere accounts to view and analyze drone-generated field maps in combination with other important crop data in Operations Center.
Individual farmers and growers who are using Operations Center can now connect their accounts to DroneDeploy to:
- Import field boundaries from Operations Center for easy drone flight planning
- Capture, view and annotate drone maps
- Export DroneDeploy maps and insights into Operations Center

Hyperspectral imaging reinvented
Small differences in the content of light, far more subtle than what we can perceive as different colours, carry valuable information about the health status of vegetation. Hyperspectral imaging reveals this by splitting light into a large number of spectral components. Remote sensing applications use this spectral data to derive accurate information of even minor changes in the state of vegetation, water or other objects.

With compact hyperspectral cameras, vegetation can be monitored from multiple platforms, including small drones and satellites. VITO Remote Sensing wants to make the extraction of accurate information at high update rates more accessible, to support precision agriculture, environmental and vegetation monitoring.
