The EU Common Agricultural Policy after 2020 should mobilise both
direct payments and rural development pillars, in order to pave the
way for the introduction of much-needed digital technologies in the
farming sector, experts in precision agriculture told EurActiv.com.

Yara App Store

Yara TankmixIT app
Yara TankmixIT is based on a database of results from thousands
of individual two-way or multi component tank mix tests of YaraVita™
products with other spray materials.
Access is freely available to everyone and allows better planning of
spray programs and spraying opportunities with most of the YaraVita™
range. Each tank mix test is carried out under controlled conditions
in our product development laboratories following BS EN ISO 9001:2000
guidelines and represents a fair measure of the performance of each
mixture made.
Of course, there are many variables in making tank mixes under field
conditions that can influence the mixability of any mixture made. Yara
TankmixIT is just a guide, not a guarantee of either physical or biological
compatibility.

Gene Drives on the Horizon: Advancing Science, Navigating Uncertainty,
and Aligning Research with Public Values
Research on gene drive systems is rapidly advancing. Many proposed
applications of gene drive research aim to solve environmental and public
health challenges, including the reduction of poverty and the burden of
vector-borne diseases, such as malaria and dengue, which disproportionately
impact low and middle income countries. However, due to their intrinsic
qualities of rapid spread and irreversibility, gene drive systems raise
many questions with respect to their safety relative to public and environmental
health. Because gene drive ...

When Women Win, Men Win, Too
A glass ceiling was shattered at the Democratic National Convention
in Philadelphia, and some American men are afraid that they’ll be injured
by the shards. My
column argues that whatever one thinks of Hillary Clinton, advances
for women benefit men and women alike.

Two
friends are fishing near a bridge
Suddenly a Hearse and two Funeral Cars go over the bridge so one of the
men stands up, takes off his cap and bows his head.
When the cars have gone he puts his cap back on, sits back down and carries
on fishing.
His mate turns to him and says," Dave, that's one of the nicest most
respectful things I've ever seen. ".
Dave replies," Well we were married for nearly 20 years. ".
