ICT-AGRI Workshops at EFITA and ECPA
ICT-AGRI organises workshops at two major conferences within ICT and Precision Agriculture in July 2017:
- At EFITA in Montpellier 5th July 11:10
- At ECPA in Edinburgh 19th July 14:00
The main content is at both workshops to discuss a new Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda with practioners, researchers, developers, companies and policy makers. Everybody are welcome.

Your anonymous answers will be used to improve workflow in producing AGROVOC knowledge items (concepts and terms), and to enhance performance of web services supporting their publishing and sharing, as well as interoperability of AGROVOC with other Knowledge Organization Systems published and interconnected with each other as Linked Open Data.

New Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda
ICT-AGRI requires your help for a new Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda.
Has new technologies and increased investments in ICT for agriculture resulted in a higher adoption by farmers? If not everywhere, then somewhere? Are there good lessons to learned? Contribute to a simple survey on adoption rates!
Are the last twenty years' reasons for low adoption by farmers still valid? ICT-AGRI suggests ten common reasons that may not to be valid anymore. Do you agree?

We have recently worked hard to present you some improvements of our web site:

a) NEWS section: the NEWS section is now a permanent single page were all entries are available and were you can simply scroll down to read them.

b) PUBLICATIONS section: many recent publications have been added whether they are scientific, technical or presented in conferences.

c) RESEARCH section:
c.1) some research line were updated and the Precision Lifestock Farming Precision pig feeding research line was added.

The Data-Driven Bioeconomy project (DataBio) focuses on the production of best possible raw materials from agriculture, forestry and fishery for the bioeconomy industry to produce food, energy and biomaterials taking into account responsibility and sustainability
